Spiff Contracting was founded in 2008 by Sanford Carnes and Edward Heitzman. The team started out as a painting company and later on expanded to include construction services. This allowed the company to provide 1-stop solutions for the self-storage industry.

Today Spiff Contracting delivers services throughout 48 states and have now developed into the primary partners of major self-storage companies such as Extra Space, Public Storage, and CubeSmart.
